I REALLY Love Lucy.

Today was the final regional class. Lucy was good. Mimi was good. They were good together… bringin’ home the roses!

Mimi and Lucy heading to the warmup arena before their class.

Waiting for Mimi and Lucy to enter the show ring.

Here they are!

I'm watching the ringmaster put the roses on Lucy.

Number One.

Lucy was such a good girl after her class, Mimi let me give her a carrot.

I think Lucy got tired of me pretty quick... must have invaded her personal horse bubble or something.

But in the end, she gave me a big kiss before she got on the trailer to head back to AZ.

This is the man who hauls her alllll the way back home. His name is Mike. He promised to take good care of Lucy.

“SQUIRREL?!”

Today, I saw a squirrel out the window.

I was being sneaky...

... but Ah HAH! He saw me!

He was fwuffy.

He was fwuffy.

Jurassic Park.

I get to go back to Tahoe! Yesssss. Can’t believe it’s been a year since my last visit. I made the long 14 hour drive once again, with Mimi and her Mommy. We broke the drive up a bit by spending a night in Palm Springs, California. It’s about 4 hours from Scottsdale, so it wasn’t that far for us. We spent the day shopping, eating, and bonding (with dinosaurs).

I thought you were dead?!

She sure was pretty.

She let me give her a foot rub.

I leave them in peace.

We were almost to the cabin... and to our surprise, when we came over Mt. Rose, this is what we saw! So much snow!

Eagle Lake.

The next day, I went for a hike with Mimi across from Emerald Bay at Eagle Falls, and on up we went to Eagle Lake.

I'm reading the information at the Eagle Falls Trailhead.

I met another friend. His name was Lizard.

Eagle Falls!

Almost to Eagle Lake. From here I could see Emerald Bay.

Ta-Dah! I made it!

We were pooped.

Public Market.

Day two in Seattle was really exciting. I made lots of new friends around the city, and even went on stage at a concert downtown.

These are a few of the new friends I made. The green one didn't speak English too well.

Jaws took me for a ride.

At the Pike Place Market.

I saw hundreds of flowers bundled up for sale.

I made even MORE friends at a honey stand. Can't wait to tell Bear that I met his distant cousins.

This is me with one of the fishmongers who throws the fish around to entertain the customers...

... he fed me to the crabs! Not so funny for Bunny.

I learned how to make cheese curds.

I saw Trombone Shorty play.

This was the best part of my day... the whole band invited me up on stage!

I went home with some delicious goodies.

395.

So we began… our long, 14 hour drive from Phoenix, Arizona to Lake Tahoe, California. The best part of the drive was the long stretch up 395 – there were so many photo opportunities! I have never seen such large mountains before, the sites were beautiful! Here are a few of the things I saw along the way.

In Lone Pine, Smokey told me that only I could prevent forest fires... can you find me?

Here I am on the backside of Kings Canyon National Park.

Mommy let me drive to Bishop.

I rode a pony at Schat's Bakery in Bishop. Best turkey sandwiches in the West!

I was an honorary ranger in Bridgeport. Almost to the lake!

Finally! We arrived at the cabin around 9pm... it was way past my bedtime.
