“SQUIRREL?!”

Today, I saw a squirrel out the window.

I was being sneaky...

Eagle Lake.

The next day, I went for a hike with Mimi across from Emerald Bay at Eagle Falls, and on up we went to Eagle Lake.

I'm reading the information at the Eagle Falls Trailhead.

I met another friend. His name was Lizard.

Eagle Falls!

Almost to Eagle Lake. From here I could see Emerald Bay.

Ta-Dah! I made it!

We were pooped.

A Bunny’s Fanny.

I’ve had a few days to catch up on some sleep. Mommy has taken me around the lake to see  and do lots of different things.

I went to my very first garage sale.

Saw Squaw Valley, where the 1960 Olympic Winter Games were held.

I met Tahoe Tessie, who lives under Cave Rock at the lake.

This is where water gets let out from the lake into the Truckee River. Can you see me?

They call this Fanny Bridge. Do you know why?

I know Mommy loves me. She held my hand.

395.

So we began… our long, 14 hour drive from Phoenix, Arizona to Lake Tahoe, California. The best part of the drive was the long stretch up 395 – there were so many photo opportunities! I have never seen such large mountains before, the sites were beautiful! Here are a few of the things I saw along the way.

In Lone Pine, Smokey told me that only I could prevent forest fires... can you find me?

Here I am on the backside of Kings Canyon National Park.

Mommy let me drive to Bishop.

I rode a pony at Schat's Bakery in Bishop. Best turkey sandwiches in the West!

I was an honorary ranger in Bridgeport. Almost to the lake!

Finally! We arrived at the cabin around 9pm... it was way past my bedtime.
