Finally. After almost 15 hours in the car, we arrived at the lake. We woke up this morning, and went straight to my favorite breakfast joint – the Fire Sign Cafe.

Here we are!
I ate a yummy yogurt parfait.
I made a new friend named Bear.
So we began… our long, 14 hour drive from Phoenix, Arizona to Lake Tahoe, California. The best part of the drive was the long stretch up 395 – there were so many photo opportunities! I have never seen such large mountains before, the sites were beautiful! Here are a few of the things I saw along the way.
In Lone Pine, Smokey told me that only I could prevent forest fires... can you find me?
Here I am on the backside of Kings Canyon National Park.
Mommy let me drive to Bishop.
I rode a pony at Schat's Bakery in Bishop. Best turkey sandwiches in the West!
I was an honorary ranger in Bridgeport. Almost to the lake!
Finally! We arrived at the cabin around 9pm... it was way past my bedtime.
